On October 9th, 2024, Feria en Rama will permeate the walls of the High Line Nine Galleries in Historic Chelsea, NYC. Our walk around industry tasting will run from 11-5pm and showcase Andalusian wine and art, tasty morsels from top NYC restaurants, exclusive Master Classes and Seminars, and a rotation of elite guest bartenders stirring things up throughout the day! At 4pm we go live with esteemed Flamenco artist Alfonso Cid and his cuadrilla to bring Flamenco flair featuring live music and dance to close the Feria. ¡We look forward to AlbarizÁrte!

how it all started:
Jerez! and …a life-changing event while participating in Copa Jerez alongside Kerin Auth Bembry and chef Flannery Klette-Kolton in 2017, which paired 10 different sherries with 10 different styles of flamenco songs or, as they call them, palos. As a musician and aspiring sherry expert, I saw everything I cared about most in life on stage at at the same time, together, in harmony: sherry and music combining to create what was described as:

The event was conceived of by Josep Roca and Diego del Morao (part owner and sommelier of El Cellar de Can Roca & flamenco guitarist extraordinaire, respectively), set in the Cloister of Santo Domingo (built in 1436) in Jerez de La Frontera.
The evening was designed to pay homage to the guitarist Paco de Lucía and his actual
guitar. They called the event “De tal palo, tal Jerez.” A phrase referencing “like father, like son” as if to say the two things, sherry and flamenco, are cut from the same cultural cloth, are meant to be paired together.
